BREAKING NEWS!
The China visa (complete with passport) arrived as planned earlier today, which is quite a relief. So, I guess I better start packing.
After much deliberation, I decided to overnight at Heathrow rather than set off in the early hours of Saturday morning. This will involve a civilised 4 hour coach trip from Nottingham to Heathrow Airport tomorrow, arriving at about 9.30 pm.
Meanwhile, I have much to do (packing aside) before I leave home at 4.30 tomorrow afternoon. It will have to be a very early start tomorrow!
